JFS { Gramercy Place Family Shelter Needs Your Help!

We need your help!

We are happy to report that recently, several Gramercy families have been moving out of our shelter and into their own permanent housing every month. As a result, we are in need of gently used donations to  help them transition to their new residences.

We are in need of items such as microwaves, refrigerators, beds, couches, dining tables, and other pieces of furniture! Donations of these items will go directly to families leaving JFS { Gramercy Place Family Shelter and will allow them to live comfortably in their new homes.

If you are able to donate any of these items, we would be so grateful! Please contact Deidre Norville at (213) 387-0171 or dnorville@jfsla.org.

The JFS { Gramercy Place Family Shelter is a two-year residential program with supportive services for homeless families. Gramercy specializes in assisting families with children, including single parent mothers and fathers, as well as two-parent families and teenagers living on their own. The program is designed to help families break the cycle of homelessness and move toward permanent housing. Subsidized food and clothing are provided along with childcare, advocacy, tutoring, case management and therapy and an array of other services. Help in finding permanent housing solutions is also provided.

Thank you in advance for your generosity!
