JFS { SOVA Welcomes Volunteers From the University of Kansas!

From time to time, JFS { SOVA welcomes special groups of volunteers to our three pantries. These individuals join our regular volunteers in making sure our pantries run as smoothly as possible, helping unload pallets, sort food, distribute grocery bags, and assist in the intake process.

On Monday, May 21st, we welcomed a group of volunteers from the University of Kansas, who were in Los Angeles participating in an "alternative spring break experience." These six young students were a huge help to our SOVA Metro staff and volunteers for several hours, and we are grateful they chose to volunteer at JFS { SOVA!
